Emergency Maintenance and Changes to Host Keys - June 7

Published 09 June 2017 by C. G. Brown

On June 7, at about 10:00 PM EDT, we noticed an issue with our server pl8, which powers *.2, *.5, *.6, and *.8.projectlocker.com. Over the next two hours we repaired the issue, but part of the repair process led to a reset of our host keys. You may be presented with the warning message that looks like:

@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@

@ WARNING: REMOTE HOST IDENTIFICATION HAS CHANGED! @

@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@

If you see this, you can go to our knowledge base list of keys to get the current list of keys and verify that the one you're being presented with is correct.

We're sorry for any inconvenience caused by this issue.
