Today we have an update for freelancers, consultants, creatives, and anybody else who gets paid by billing time.

We've just released a new add-on that will help make time tracking easier for Toggl users. If you're not familiar with Toggl, it's insanely simple time tracking that you use on the Web. Learn more here.

If you're a current user of ProjectLocker and Toggl, this FAQ entry will show you how to get set up. Once you're setup, you can simply annotate your commit comments with the time an activity took. For instance, to indicate that a particular block of work took 45 minutes, you could simply use a commit message like this:

Added flat UI theme. Took 45 mins.

See what we did there? My comment says what I did and then how long it took, no difficult commands or funky hashtags. ProjectLocker will automatically log 45 minutes to the project in Toggl, and when it's time to create an invoice for your client, you won't forget to bill those 45 minutes. (The syntax is flexible -- see the FAQ entry for details.) Awesome, and we hope this integration will save you some time and help you make a little more money.

The Toggl integration is available now to all ProjectLocker accounts at the Equity level or higher. If you don't have a Toggl account yet, hop on over to their site and sign up today!
