Update to Server Certificate

On Thursday, December 1, ProjectLocker will be updating our SSL certificates on all servers. If you do not have your Subversion client configured with our intermediate certificate bundle, you may receive warning messages about the certificate not coming from a trusted authority. More detailed instructions on how to do this are provided at https://portal.projectlocker.com/support_faq/tag/subversion#46.

We are using the same certificate authority we have been using, Starfield Technologies, and the certificates are valid and work in all major browser. After inspecting the certificate in your browser, you should feel free to accept the certificate permanently into your client's cache.

As always, just open a support ticket in ProjectLocker Portal if you have any questions.

ProjectLocker Emergency Maintenance - Friday, April 22, 2011

Last night at about 11 PM Central, we noticed an issue with the disks on our pl3 machine. Our data center team investigated and discovered an issue that required an analysis and possible rebuild of the disk array. To prevent potential irrecoverable data loss, we took the machine down and began repairs immediately.

Users of webshare.projectlocker.com, as well as users on servers *3.projectlocker.com, are currently unable to access their services at this time. Accounts on other servers should not be affected.

We realize the urgency of repair, and are working as quickly as possible to restore service. While occasional issues such as hardware failures are unavoidable, when they do occur, we work around the clock to restore the quality of service that you expect.

We'll update the blog and make announcements via Twitter at @ProjectLockerHQ as the situation updates. If you have filed a support ticket regarding this, know that our team is hard at work on the issue and we will get back to you individually with updates as well.

We are sorry for any trouble or inconvenience this has caused your teams.

Regards,
The ProjectLocker Team

SSL Certificates Updated

We have just updated the SSL certificates on all servers. Your Subversion clients may present you with a message along the lines of:
"The certificate is not issued by a trusted authority. Use the fingerprint to validate the certificate manually!" This is due to the fact that many clients' systems have a separate certificate authority bundle that leaves out a number of legitimate and widespread certificate providers, including our provider, Starfield Technologies.

If you see this message, please select "accept (p)ermanently" to proceed.

You can contact Support via the New Support Request link in ProjectLocker Portal if there are any issues or if you have any questions.
