If your Rally account has access to the API, you can use our integration seamlessly by putting your Rally user name and password into your user profile, and having your account administrator set the appropriate URL for access to the API. Once this is set up, commit messages that reference artifacts are linked to the artifacts and can even act on them in some cases (for example, closing a ticket).
