Posted by C. G. Brown Fri, 03 Dec 2010 20:48:00 GMT

As the holidays draw nearer, we'd like to help you get in the spirit with a special offer:

1 For You, 1 For Me!

All accounts that upgrade from our Free plan to any paid plan will receive their first month free, and we'll donate their second month's membership fees to charity. All you have to do is upgrade to a paid plan before the end of 2010 to qualify. You'll save a few bucks, and you'll help make the world a better place. Who can argue with that?

The charities we're considering are:

  • Grameen Bank - Provider of microcredit to nurture communities in developing nations, improving local economies.

  • Heifer International - Provides livestock to families in poverty, creating sustainable improvements in living conditions.

  • One Laptop Per Child - Provides low-cost computers to the world's poorest children to increase create educational opportunities.

  • Wikimedia Foundation - Operator of the world's largest and most popular encyclopedia, Wikipedia.

The Fine Print

Promotion only applies to free accounts that have signed up on or before December 31, 2010. Each upgraded account must remain on a paid plan for a minimum of three months for charitable donations to be made on its behalf. The charity that will receive the donation will be chosen by ProjectLocker users via an online poll. All upgrades must take place by 12:01 AM EST 1/1/2011. SSL Certificates Updated

Posted by C. G. Brown Wed, 01 Dec 2010 22:41:00 GMT

We have just updated the SSL certificates on all servers. Your Subversion clients may present you with a message along the lines of: "The certificate is not issued by a trusted authority. Use the fingerprint to validate the certificate manually!" This is due to the fact that many clients' systems have a separate certificate authority bundle that leaves out a number of legitimate and widespread certificate providers, including our provider, Starfield Technologies.

If you see this message, please select "accept (p)ermanently" to proceed.

You can contact Support via the New Support Request link in ProjectLocker Portal if there are any issues or if you have any questions.
